It is with great pleasure that I greet you. It is my hope and desire that you will find this site to be a place you can come to and participate in and receive the information, product, service, or just good olde fellowship you may be looking for.  
  
New to Bees?
 
If you are new to bees and beekeeping, it is my hope that you will consider a "Holistic" approach to the keeping of your bees.  It is my hope that you will gain a clearer and greater understanding of these wonderful and mystical creatures of nature.  They truly are a most wondrous creature, from the manner in which they live their lives to the service they provide to all of nature and mankind.   
  
Experienced Beekeeper?
 
For those who are old hat at Beekeeping, I doubt there will be anything about the physical act of beekeeping that I can add, but it is my hope that you will find some new ideas and approaches to beekeeping, or what I like
to call "Holistic Beekeeping". 

It is also my hope that you will join in the discussions on the "Bees Blog", by adding to the discussions and allowing us to partake of your expertise and knowledge. 
 

Bees ok, but what's this about Druids?
 
For those wondering what the dang-nab a Druid is and even those who believe they have an understanding, it is my hope that you will gain something new from your visits here with me The Island Druid.  Though this site is about Bees, and Beekeeping, we will be looking at it from the Island Druids philosophy of Holistic Beekeeping.
